HeYa Privacy Policy

HeYa is designed as a local-first image workspace. This Privacy Policy explains how the app handles images, app activity, permissions, purchases, and service data when you use HeYa.

1. Scope

This Privacy Policy applies to your use of HeYa, including image browsing, importing, editing, favorites, timeline records, template tools, exports, photo-library saving, coin balance features, and optional consumable in-app purchases.

By using HeYa, you acknowledge that you have read this Privacy Policy and understand how the app handles information as described below.

2. Information You Provide or Create

HeYa may process information that you choose to provide or create in the app, including:

  • Images you import from your photo library or otherwise make available to the app.
  • Edited images, filter selections, crop choices, poster-style exports, and saved results.
  • Favorite status, local timeline activity, and other app state needed to restore your experience.
  • Purchase-related app records such as coin balance, purchase results, and premium action usage inside HeYa.

3. Local Image Handling

HeYa is built around local image browsing and editing. Imported, favorited, and edited images are processed on your device whenever possible.

Unless required by an Apple system service, initiated by you through sharing, or necessary for a feature you choose to use, HeYa does not upload your original images to a remote server operated by us.

4. Photo Library Permission

HeYa may request access to your photo library when you choose to import images or save exported results. The permission is used for those photo-related actions.

You can manage or revoke photo access in iOS Settings. If you decline or restrict access, some import or save features may not work, but you may still use available in-app image features that do not require photo-library access.

5. App Activity and Local Records

HeYa may store local activity records, including imports, favorites, unfavorites, filter changes, crop resets, exports, and other timeline entries. These records help you review your editing history inside the app.

The timeline is not a public feed and is not designed as a social network. Local records may be removed if you delete the app or clear related local data through system-level controls.

6. Purchases, Coins, and StoreKit

HeYa offers optional consumable coin packs. Purchases are processed through Apple StoreKit, and payment information is handled by Apple under Apple's own terms and privacy practices.

HeYa may store purchase results, coin balance, and coin deductions so the app can deliver purchased consumable items and unlock marked premium actions. Coins are virtual items for use inside HeYa only and have no cash value outside the app.

7. Network and Service Data

HeYa may use network access to load policy pages, retrieve StoreKit product information and pricing, verify purchase status through Apple frameworks, or support required app service status.

When your device communicates with Apple or other system services, those services may receive technical information such as device identifiers, account context, IP address, purchase metadata, and diagnostic data according to their own policies.

8. Device and Diagnostic Information

The app or the operating system may generate technical information such as app version, build number, device model, iOS version, crash logs, performance data, and error information.

This information may be used to maintain app stability, troubleshoot issues, improve compatibility, and understand whether key features are working as intended.

9. How We Use Information

Information handled by HeYa is used to:

  • Provide image import, browsing, editing, favorite, timeline, and export features.
  • Save your local app state and restore your editing workflow.
  • Deliver consumable coin purchases and process coin deductions for premium actions.
  • Display policy, version, purchase, and service information.
  • Maintain security, prevent misuse, fix bugs, and improve app performance.

10. Sharing of Information

We do not sell your personal information. HeYa may share or make information available only in limited situations, including:

  • With Apple and system services when needed for photo access, StoreKit purchases, refunds, diagnostics, or platform compliance.
  • When you choose to export, save, or share content using device or third-party sharing tools.
  • When required to comply with applicable law, enforce our terms, protect users, or respond to lawful requests.

11. Data Retention

Local app data may remain on your device for as long as HeYa is installed or until you remove it through available app or system controls. Deleting the app may remove local app data from the device.

Apple account data, App Store purchase records, refund history, payment records, and other platform records are retained by Apple according to Apple's policies and cannot be deleted directly by HeYa.

12. Your Choices

You can control certain privacy settings through your device and app usage choices, including:

  • Choosing which images to import, edit, save, or share.
  • Changing photo-library permission in iOS Settings.
  • Deleting exported images from your photo library using the Photos app.
  • Deleting HeYa from your device to remove local app data where supported by iOS.
  • Using Apple account tools for purchase history, refunds, and App Store account controls.

13. Children's Privacy

HeYa is not directed to children under the age required by applicable law to use digital services without parental consent. If you believe a child has provided personal information through HeYa in a way that requires review, please contact us.

14. Security

We use reasonable measures designed to protect information handled by the app. No app, device, operating system, or network connection can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your device, Apple account, device passcode, and any backups or sharing destinations you choose to use.

15. International Use

If you use HeYa from outside the country or region where it is provided, you understand that app services, Apple systems, and support communications may process information in other regions subject to applicable law.

16. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect app changes, legal requirements, or operational updates. The effective date above indicates when this version became effective.

Your continued use of HeYa after an updated policy becomes available means you accept the updated policy to the extent permitted by law.
